Sound Change

1. Call me when you can. :when youのところ

2. Can you come tomorrow? :Can youのところ

3. How can you say that? :can youのところ

4. I’ve been studying English for seven years.

5. Open your eyes wide.

6. What’s in your bag? :in yourのところ

7. My sweater is lemon yellow. :lemon yellowのところ

8. I’ll tell you the truth.

9. Paint the wall yellow. :wall yellowのところ

10. Give me your hand, will you? :will youのところ

A : What's your shirt size?

B : I'm a small.

(Sです)

A : Do you like black?

B : Sure. I like black.

A : What do you wera on the weekends?

B : It depends. Usually just comfortable clothes.

A : Here. Why don't you try this on?

B : OK. I'll be right back.

A : Oh. It looks good on you.

B : Do you think so? I like it too.

I'm a small.

Mサイズならa medium、Lサイズならa large、LLならan extra largeという具合。

It looks good on you.

CNN ENGLISH EXPRESS

“We're going to [ ] the [ ] promises of [ ] to the people and [ ] out of the EU on October the 31st, no [ ] or [ ].

“ Fighting words from the new [ ] [ ], who [ ] out his [ ] for the UK with the usual oratorical flourish.

"The [ ], the doomsters, the gloomsters---they are going to [ ] it [ ] again.

The people who [ ] against Britain are going to [ ] their [ ]."

回答

“We're going to fulfill the repeated promises of Parliament to the people and come out of the EU on October the 31st, no ifs or buts.

“ Fighting words from the new prime minister, who laid out his vision for the UK with the usual oratorical flourish.

"The doubters, the doomsters, the gloomsters---they are going to get it wrong again.

The people who bet against Britain are going to lose their shirts."

Parliament 議会

come out of the EU EUからの離脱

no ifs or buts if、butを言葉としての名詞扱いでその複数形ifsとbutsとなっている。

get it wrong 勘違いをする。
