1月最終週の英語耳をひらこうセミナー。
毎月月末はMBAアソシエイツの原澤講師と岸講師のダブル来校の日です。
そして今回は多くの受講生にきていただき、久しぶりにテーブルを撤去して椅子を並べる配置にレイアウト。
合計10名の方々に出席いただきました。
今回も盛りだくさんの内容でした。
音の連結１ [ f ] [ v ]+母音
[ f ]と[ v ]が母音とつながったときの音の連結を練習しました。
1. Have a nice day!
2. I have an idea.
3. I'll have on eye exam tomorrow.
4. It's five o'clock.
5. Don't give up easily.
6. This is the house we live in.
7. I want some of it.
8. None of us knows about that.
9. I won't go if it rains.
10. I like the life in a city better.
音としては「ヴァ」という音になるようです。
これらの表現を使った会話練習がこちら。
A: You know, I'll have an eye exam tomorrow.
B: Oh, what time?
A: It's five o'clock in the afternoon.
B: It looks like rain tomorrow afternoon, though.
A: I know. I won't go if it rains.
B: Come on! Don't give up easily.
A: I hate to go out in the rain.
B: Hey, I have an idea. I'll go with you.
A: Really? Thanks!
B: No problem.

３つの単語が連結するパターンです。
look at it: 例文 Take a look at it.
work it out: 例文 We can work it out.
lots of apples: 例文 I bought lots of apples.
one of us: 例文 One of us shouldgo.
some of it: 例文 We need some of it.
That's all I : 例文 That's all I want to say.
once in a : 例文 Come visit us one in a while.
off of it : 例文 Keep your hands off of it.
over and over : 例文 I read the book over and over.
looks as if : 例文 It looks as if it's real.

音の連結は慣れることが一番だそうです。
上手に発音している人の真似を繰り返しすることで耳が慣れていきます。
